This site catalogs and show information about coins and banknotes from Venezuela, to help the difusion of this patrimony to the world and our country. The information contained in this website is in constant expansion, remaining only to be catalogued essais coins, patterns and trial strikes. Maybe there are some rare pieces that are not in the catalog, mostly specimen notes and notes issued before 1940. We welcome any comments, corrections, new information or pictures. Due to the dynamic of numismatic market, this site cannot provide the value of numismatic pieces, however as a guide, many prices are related to rarity, conservation, supply and demand. There are some catalogs that may help to get an approximate value, which is listed at Bibliography inside the References section.
