In each corner, the value "20". In the center, inside a green-black rossete, the value "20" with the denomination in words "VEINTE BOLIVARES". On the top, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" with two serial number below. On the bottom, the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO".
Reverse: Design Green-black over a light blue underprint. From the left toward the center, representation of the Naval Battle of Maracaibo. On the right, a white zone for watermarks with the Coat of Arms at upper left. In each corner, the value "20". On the top, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA". On the bottom, the denomination in words "VEINTE BOLIVARES".
