In the center, the value "2000" with the denomination in words "DOS MIL BOLIVARES" in two parts, the denomination above and the monetary unit "Bolívares" over the value, and the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO" below. On the top left, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA". The serial numbers are located in the upper left corner and at left of Sucre. bottom left corner the value "2000" and in the upper right corner, three times the value "2000". On the left, watermarks zone.
Reverse: Design green over a cream underprint. In the center, engraving of the Battle of Ayacucho by the painter Martín Tovar y Tovar done in 1837. On the top, the denomination in words "DOS MIL BOLIVARES" with the Coat of Arms below at right. On the bottom, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA". In each corners, except the bottom right corner, the value "2000". On the right, watermarks zone.
