In the center, the denomination in words "VEINTE MIL BOLIVARES" in two parts, the denomination above and the monetary unit name below., over an Angel Falls silhouette background. On the bottom, a sheet with a writing inside, with the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO" above. On the left, watermarks zone. In the upper left corner, the country name "REPÚBLICA BOLIVARIANA DE VENEZUELA". In each corners, except the bottom left corner the value "20000". The serial numbers are located in the upper right (in black) and bottom left (in red).
Reverse: Design mainly in yellow and orcher. In the center, at right, view of the Angel Falls, discovered in 1937 by James (Jimmy) Angel; at left a blue and yellow Guacamaya, with the orchid "Flor de Mayo" --flower of May (Cattleya Mosiae) above. On the top left, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA". In the upper right and bottom left corners, the value "20000". In the bottom right corner the denomination in words "VEINTE MIL BOLIVARES".
