Obverse: On the right, engraving of Antonio José de Sucre based on a painting by Arturo Michelena. At left, inside a rosette the denomination in words "DIEZ BOLIVARES". In each corner except the bottom right, the value "10". On the top, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" and two serial number below. At the left bottom of the portrait, the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO".
Similarities in the design of the obverse: The design is similar to the Design F, Type A, varying the the design of the borders, background and the portrait of Sucre.
Reverse: In the center toward to the right, engraving of the painting "Triumph of Sucre in the Battle of Ayacucho" by Herrera Toro based on artwork from Martín Tovar y Tovar. On the left, inside a circle, the Coat of Arms. On the top left "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA". In both corners at bottom the value in words "DIEZ". At the bottom, the denomination in words "DIEZ BOLIVARES". In the upper right corner the value "10".
Similarities in the design of the reverse: The design is similar to the Design F, Type A, varying in the details and design of the engraving and elimination of the printer name.
Additional comments: There is discrepancies in the Coat of Arms design.
Conmemotative motive: 150 years of the death of the Marshal Antonio José de Sucre.
