In each corner except the bottom right, the value "10". On the top left, the issuer "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" and two serial number below. At the left bottom of the portrait, the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO".
Reverse: In the center toward to the right, engraving of the painting "Triumph of Antonio José de Sucre in the Battle of Ayacucho" by Herrera Toro based on artwork from Martín Tovar y Tovar. On the left, inside a circle, the Coat of Arms. On the top left "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA". In both corners at bottom the value in words "DIEZ". At the bottom, the denomination in words "DIEZ BOLIVARES". In the upper right corner the value "10".
