Characteristics

  • : Design on violet, with frame-like border and security background. On the left, inside an oval portrait of Simon Bolivar from unknown author, on the right, inside an oval, portrait of the Marshal of Ayacucho, Antonio José de Sucre by Arturo Michelena of 19th Century. In each corner the value in words "DIEZ". In the center, the value "10" inside a rosette; below the denomination in words "DIEZ BOLIVARES" and the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO". On the top, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA", with two serial number below. In the center, below the issuer name, the word "CARACAS".
  • : The design is based on Design C, Type A, changing the Sucre portrait from Lemoine to Arturo Michelena.
  • : Design on violet, with frame-like border. In the center, Monument to Carabobo by Antonio Rodríguez del Villar, site which Bolívar achieved the independence of Venezuela on June 24th 1821. On the left, inside a circle, the value "10", on the right, inside a circle the Coat of Arms. In each corner the value in words "DIEZ". In the bottom the denomination in words "DIEZ BOLIVARES". On the top, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA".
  • : The design is the same to Design B, Type A.
